About Goes Eye Centre
Dr. Frank Goes is the Medical Director and Chief Surgeon of the Goes Eye Centre. He and his staff meticulously examine each patient to ensure the best possible outcomes for laser eye surgery. For LASIK surgery, Dr. Goes uses one of the most advanced systems in the world: the Visumax Zeiss Femtosecond laser combined with the Mel 80 Zeiss laser for Custom LASIK. This is an all-laser LASIK approach since no microkeratome is used anymore. The customized wavefront LASIK procedure, originally developed by Carl Zeiss Meditec, provides a precise measurement of each patient's corneal curvature. This unique "corneal map" is then programmed into the excimer laser and eye tracker so that the corneas can be accurately re-shaped during the LASIK procedure. All surgery is pre-programmed by the computer.
In addition to LASIK, Dr. Goes offers LASEK and PRK. For patients who do not qualify for laser eye surgery, Dr. Goes provides intraocular lens (IOL) surgery, Artiflex phakic IOLs to correct vision, and multifocal IOLS to allow patients to see clearly near and distant objects without glasses. The Goes Eye Centre also provides advanced care for patients with glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, strabismus and other eye health issues. Cosmetic eyelid surgery, known as blepharoplasty, is also available at the Goes Eye Centre.
The total staff of Goes Eye Centre consists of 18 collaborators, including one orthoptiste, two optometrists, three nurses, three secretaries, four technical assistants and five ophthalmologists.

"My myopia lasted for 20 years and I could not read the blackboard since I was 15 years old. Three years later the notes on my music scores formed an unreadable disharmony. So, for the past 20 years, contact lenses became my daily partner, regardless of how much irritation they caused. As time went on, my spectacles deformed my eyes (made them much smaller) since I had -8 Dptr. myopia and I formed a barrier between myself and my friends and colleagues. Today, I am almost 40 and finally get to enjoy the clearness and the sharpness of my improved eyesight. It feels like I am 15 again. In the morning I can see which one of my two lovely daughters is jumping in my bed for a hug without having to reach for my eyeglasses first. In the daytime, I can sharply see the details of the newly built Residence and Hotel project 'La Reserve Knokkee Zoute Belgium,' which I am coordinating. In the evening, I can enjoy the sunset from my terrace between the leaves of my beach tree. A business partner gave me Dr. Goes' address and after providing me with a brochure about LASIK, Dr. Goes tested my eyes and explained the pros and the cons of the procedure. On the day of treatment, Dr. Goes told me exactly what I had to do and explained in detail, with a soft hypnotizing voice, what he and the machine were doing. The treatment took less than 15 minutes and I did not even feel it."
"Dr. Goes gave me the miracle of the time My EYES so that I can clearly see from early morning until late at night without glasses or contacts. I wish you a long life Dr. Goes and am FOREVER GRATEFUL."
