More About Beyer Laser Center

Dr. Craig Beyer is the medical director and chief surgeon of the Beyer Laser Center. Each patient is meticulously examined by Dr. Beyer and his staff to determine the best option for vision correction.

Lasik at Beyer Laser Center involves two surgical steps: the creation of the flap, and the reshaping of the cornea. Instead of using a blade to create the flap, our patient have the option of using the Blade-FREE IntraLase laser method.  The IntraLase FS Laser, which is the latest advancement in Blade-Free LASIK technology, uses pulses of laser light to create the flap, which is safer and more accurate than the blade. The second step involves the reshaping of your cornea with the VISX S4 Active Track laser. When the laser treatment is complete, the flap is repositioned into place.

This Blade-FREE, computer-guided technology is 100% more accurate than most of the mechanical microkeratomes (hand-held devices with a thin metal blade) that surgeons may also use to create a corneal flap.

The 100% Blade-FREE IntraLase method has been used successfully on hundreds of thousands of eyes and we trust this advanced technology to deliver exceptional results. Our commitment is to provide you with the ultimate in comfort, safety, and outstanding vision. LASIK with Blade-FREE IntraLase can help you achieve all of this-while it delivers the added assurance of knowing you're being treated with the most advanced technology there is.

Because of the superior accuracy of the IntraLase method, certain patients who were ineligible for LASIK may now be able to have treatment. Call Beyer Laser Center today to see  if you are a candidate.

This laser strategically creates a corneal flap that prepares the eye for the second laser. The VISX STAR S4 excimer laser system is then used. This system offers the newest technology in custom wavefront LASIK. Each patient's cornea is measured in minute detail. This "fingerprint" of the eye is programmed into the excimer laser so that each cornea is reshaped with a unique laser profile. The combination of Dr. Beyer's surgical skill and the newest technology wavefront guided LASIK system provides for excellent vision for his patients. This is why Dr. Beyer is able to provide a 20/20 Money Back Guarantee* to his patients. This guarantee provides his patients with the comfort of knowing that Dr. Beyer is so confident in his ability to provide 20/20 vision or better, that you will get a full refund of your procedure fee otherwise.

Our 20/20 Guarantee* states that if you don't achieve at least 20/20 by the end of your post-operative period, then your full procedure fee will be refunded to you.

In addition to LASIK, the Beyer Laser Center also offers refractive intraocular lens surgery, a vision correction procedure incorporating multi-focal intra-ocular lens (IOL) technology that results in patients having permanent close up, as well as distance vision. This technology makes it possible for Dr. Beyer to treat presbyopic patients, allowing them to see near, intermediate, and distance effortlessly, and naturally, without the aid of reading lasses or lenses of any kind.

The Beyer Laser Center also provides expert service for corneal transplantation, intraocular surgery for cataracts, and comprehensive eye care.
