The Atlanta Vision Institute offers the most advanced technology for laser vision correction
in the LASIK Atlanta community.
It is one of the few centers in Georgia to offer blade-free LASIK using the Wavelight Allegretto laser. For
LASIK surgery they use the all new Wavelight Allegretto laser. This is the latest laser approved by
the U.S. FDA for laser vision correction. The Wavelight laser represents a breakthrough in customized
LASIK technology. The Wavelight laser is the first to be "wavefront optimized" so that the optical
characteristics of the eye can be measured and corrected to the most precise levels, thereby correcting
visual error with extreme precision and reducing the likelihood of complications such as night vision glare
and halos.
The Atlanta Vision Institute offers blade-free LASIK utilizing the breakthrough technology of the IntraLASE laser. This blade-free LASIK procedure has the advantage of reducing complications that can occur during the LASIK procedure using a mechanical microkeratome. Recent reports also indicate better visual outcomes occur with the IntraLASE blade-free LASIK procedure.
