Dr. Jeffrey S. Rohr, is an accomplished ophthalmologist who is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology. He is among the few eye surgeons in the area to have undergone advanced fellowship training in laser and cataract surgery. Dr. Rohr is recognized for his excellent surgical track record and has lectured to other ophthalmologists about the most recent advances in refractive surgery. He was among the first ophthalmologists in Michigan to offer NearVision CK for correction of presbyopia. As the Medical Director and Chief Surgeon of Rohr Eye & Laser Center, Dr. Rohr has assembled an outstanding medical team to provide his patients with quality surgical eye care.

For his cataract patients, Dr. Rohr offers "no-stitch" cataract surgery with premium intraocular lens implants (IOLs). During cataract surgery, Dr. Rohr first creates a small, self-sealing incision on the surface of the eye. Next, he uses the advanced phacoemulsification technique to break up and remove the eye's cataractous lens, which is replaced with a premium intraocular lens. Premium IOLs are artificial implants designed to function just like the eye's natural lens. They provide patients with functional vision at various distances. Dr. Rohr provides the most sophisticated IOLs available today, including AcrySof ReSTOR, ReZoom and AcrySof Toric lenses.
At his leading-edge eye care practice, Dr. Rohr offers the full spectrum of eye care services, including NearVision CK, PRK, LASEK and LASIK eye surgery. He and his team also provide treatment for dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, strabismus and macular degeneration, as well as corneal transplant surgery and routine eye exams.
